What will happen when I contact Signal?

Freedom to Speak Up Guardians offer an additional route for workers to speak up about anything and everything that gets in the way of doing a great job. We also work proactively to support your organisations to help identify and reduce barriers to speaking up.

All Freedom to Speak Up Guardians work to a universal job description, the principles of which can be applied to all settings.

The Freedom to Speak Up Guardian role has reactive and proactive elements. The reactive relates to our speaking up case work. The proactive involves supporting development of a positive Speak Up, Listen Up and Follow Up culture.

The Freedom to Speak Up Guardian role is one that relies on partnership working, both inside and outside of the organisation.

Thank you!

We take great pleasure in ensuring that individuals who have spoken up are thanked and do not suffer as a result of speaking up. Speaking up should be encouraged and valued. We will always thank you for speaking up and endeavour to help and support without taking sides.
