The CQC gives one of four ratings to services they regulate: outstanding, good, requires improvement, or inadequate. Freedom To Speak Up Guardians and worker experience of Freedom to Speak Up culture correlates with CQC ratings – the organisations with the best Freedom to Speak Up culture tend to get rated as good or outstanding.   More importantly, NHS organisations without Freedom to Speak Up guardians could be considered non-compliant and be rated inadequate
