Terms and Conditions for “Signal Speak Up” Basic package subscription service:

 

1. Scope of Service:

1.1. “Signal Speak Up basic package is a membership service provided by Signal Speak Up Ltd (“the Company”) to UK companies and organisations (organisations), offering access to external Freedom to Speak Up Guardians.

1.2. The service allows employees of member organisations to seek advice, support, and confidential channels for raising concerns or reporting issues related to workplace culture, safety, and ethics.

1.3. The service complies with the National Guardians Offices (NGO) universal job description for Freedom to Speak Up guardians and reports quarterly to the NGO on behalf of your organisation

1.4 The service is a neutral party and does not take sides in matters raised

1.5 The service includes regular feedback reports to highlight themes, trends and concerns, and to offer suggestions for changes, considerations and improvements within the organisation

1.6 The service is required to report anonymised data to the NGO

1.7 The service may also report anonymised data to NHS commissioning organisations and the CQC upon request.

2. Subscription and Payment:

2.1. Organisations may subscribe to the “Signal Speak Up basic package” by agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.

2.2. The subscription fee shall be outlined in the subscription form and payable upon agreement, monthly in advance.

3. Access to Guardians:

3.1. Upon successful subscription, organisations will receive a welcome pack which includes a printable promotional poster which details the contact information for their employees to access their Freedom to speak up Guardians.

3.2. Access to Guardians will be available via email, MS Teams, digital forms and call-back requests, Monday to Friday during office hours.

4. Confidentiality and Data Protection:

4.1. The Company and its Guardians shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding any information shared by individuals during consultations, conversations, or interactions.

4.2. Any personal data or sensitive information disclosed by employees shall be handled in compliance with applicable data protection laws and the Company’s Privacy Policy.

5. Service Limitations:

5.1. The Company and its Guardians will offer advice and support but cannot guarantee specific outcomes or resolutions to issues raised by employees of organisations.

5.2. The Company reserves the right to modify or terminate the “Signal Speak Up basic package” service at any time and will provide advance notice to subscribed Organisations in such cases.

6. Code of Conduct:

6.1. Organisations and their representatives using the “Signal Speak Up” service are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner.

6.2. Any abusive, offensive, or inappropriate behaviour towards Guardians or Company representatives may result in immediate termination of the subscription.

7. Intellectual Property:

7.1. All intellectual property rights associated with the “Signal Speak Up” service, including but not limited to content, materials, and software, are owned by the company.

7.2. Organisation shall not reproduce, distribute, or use any copyrighted materials without prior consent from the Company.

8. Termination:

8.1. Either party may terminate the subscription with a notice period of 3 months

8.2. In the event of a breach of these Terms and Conditions, or failure to make payment, the Company reserves the right to terminate the subscription immediately.

By subscribing to the “Signal Speak Up basic package” service, Organisations agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions and ensure that their representatives do the same. The Company may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time, and any changes will be communicated to subscribed NHS organisations.
